Google’s Economic Impact Report highlights local economic impact across America. Last year, Google’s tools helped provide $335 billion of economic activity for local American businesses, website publishers, and nonprofits nationwide including $152 million in South Dakota.
“Over the past few years, we’ve made a conscious effort to meet our guests where they spend time, which is increasingly in the digital world,” said Jenna Fischer, Digital and Consumer Strategist at Prairie Berry. “It’s exciting to see that our efforts have not gone unnoticed and that Google wants to work with us so we can continue to grow, because our success here in South Dakota supports jobs here at home.”
